How the hell was I supposed to interview an anonymous person? And would I be safe? What if Ribs Man was some supernatural skate entity? What if he was down with the Reaper?! What if I said the wrong thing and Boom…bones ground into dust and snorted by a zealous troll or other such minion…These and other nefarious thoughts rippled through my mind when my phone finally buzzed. It was a text from an unidentified Texas area code and its only contents was a “skull emoji.”
